Early Thursday morning, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey announced a curfew effective 8 pm on August 27, through 6 am tomorrow, August 28 following civil unrest in downtown Minneapolis and elsewhere on Wednesday night.
St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter issued a city curfew from 8 pm to 6 am on Friday for all public places.
The curfew includes exemptions for members of the press, law enforcement, emergency responders, and those traveling to and from work.
