Renay Dossman has been named president of the Neighborhood Development Center (NDC). Dossman joined NDC in September 2019 as executive director of NDC Twin Cities.
Dossman’s background includes leading teams in merchandising, product development, and design for Target. She also served as vice president of bakery and vice president of category development for Southeastern Grocers. Dossman and her husband are also the founders of Affirmation House, a not-for-profit for homeless men that provides housing and services to eliminate homelessness. In addition, Dossman is a certified professional and executive life coach, and has been a business owner herself.
“Renay has been absolutely the next leader NDC has been looking for,” says Mihailo (Mike) Temali, founder and CEO of NDC. “Her combination of business, community, management and human knowledge, passion, life experience, leadership ability and connections is seriously off the chart. So as not to embarrass her too much, I’ll just say that we are extremely fortunate to have Renay at the helm going forward, and where she and our entire, outstanding staff and board take NDC going forward will be something to watch, I guarantee you!”
NDC is a non-profit, community development financial institution. The organization provides integrated business services so that entrepreneurs can start and grow businesses that enrich their economic and social fabric. It focuses on connecting with local entrepreneurs through a network of community-based partnerships, providing comprehensive, long-term training, financing and support while tying their businesses to the local neighborhood.
