As positive cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in the state as well as across the nation, Minnesotans who need or want to be tested for COVID-19 will be able to get a free test at four locations.
At the sites below, free tests will be administered to anyone who’d like one from 2-6 pm. No insurance is required. You did not need to be experiencing symptoms to be tested.
COVID-19 Testing Locations:
Oct. 8 & 9: New Salem Baptist Church, 2507 Bryant Ave. N. Minneapolis
Oct. 15 & 16: New Hope Baptist Church, 711 Bradley St. St. Paul
Oct. 22 & 23: St. Peter AME, 401 E. 41st St. Minneapolis
Oct. 29-30: United Church of God in Christ, 277 N, Lafayette Frontage Rd, St. Paul
Organizers are advising people to sign up for an appointment time to keep the lines short. To sign up for a test, go to www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/testsites.
