James D. Rivers, age 75, passed away on March 13, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of North Minneapolis and graduated from North High School, where he was a featured athlete. He was preceded in death by his father, James D., Sr., and his son, James T.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice; son, Jonathan; mother, Ada; sister, Mary K. Smith; brother, Aaron; nephews, Jason and Dale (Mary) Smith; grandchildren, Kacena and Kalena, James Diaz, Alexis, and Keshia Folks; great-grandsons, Kyle and Javin; best friend, Ted Crockett; and other friends and relatives.
