A sure sign of the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines and the start of a new normal is the return of the Minnesota State Fair. It was announced earlier that the State Fair would return this year with full capacity and without a mask requirement, after having been shut down last year while the nation was in the throes of the pandemic.
State Fair organizers announced on Wednesday the complete lineup for the 2021 Grandstand Concert Series featuring a bit of something for everyone. Classic R&B lovers can look forward to The Spinners, with special guests Little Anthony & The Imperials and The Grass Roots; the Doobie Brothers with Michael McDonald, and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Fans of the 1990s-era R&B and hip hop can take a trip down memory lane with T Boz and Chilli of TLC and Shaggy with special guest Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
