
The Chicago Sky put an end to Minnesota Lynx’s postseason defeating them 89-76 in a WNBA playoff game at the Target Center last Sunday afternoon with guard Courtney Vandersloot led the way with 19 points.
Guard Aeriel Powers led Minnesota with 24 points, guard Kayla McBride had 19, and center and WNBA Defensive Player of the Year Sylvia Fowles chipped in 17.
Guard Kahahleah Copper had 16, center Azura Stevens added 15, guard Diamond DeSheilds scored 14, and forward Allie Quigley chipped in 11 for Chicago.
Copper also had 10 rebounds for the Sky. Powers’ performance was one to remember.
