The University of Minnesota football team may have found the running back to fill in for recently injured starter and leading rusher Trey Potts.

Bryce Williams rushed for 127 yards and one touchdown in the Gophersโ€™ (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) 30-23 Big Ten Conference victory over the University of Nebraska on Saturday, October 16, 2021, before 45,000-plus fans at Huntington Bank Stadium.

The 6โ€™0โ€ redshirt junior and Sarasota, Florida, native who starred at Cardinal Mooney High School before joining the Gophers, scored on a 56-yard run at the 2:12 mark of the fourth quarter to give Minnesota a 30-16 lead.
