Former Champlain Park High School and University of Colorado basketball standout McKinley Wright IV, a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves of the NBA, recently signed a two-way contract with the Iowa Wolves of the NBA G League.

The 6โ€™0โ€ 192-pound point guard started for Champlain Par for three years, leading them to two Class 4A state runner-up finishes as a sophomore in 2015 and a senior in 2017.

After being named Metro Player of the Year and the stateโ€™s Mr. Basketball, Wright had an outstanding four-year collegiate career at Colorado averaging 14.2 points per game.
