Gophers’ volleyball team sweeps Indiana

The University of Minnesota volleyball team (11-5, 6-2 Big Ten), ranked No. 12 in the country, defeated Indiana University (8-12, 2-6 Big Ten) 3-0 in Big Ten conference action on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Maturi Pavilion.

Redshirt senior opposite Stephanie Samedy continued her outstanding play leading Minnesota with 14 kills, six digs, and one block while redshirt senior outside/opposite Airi Miyabe added 13 kills, and sophomore outside Jenna Wenaas chipped in nine kills.

The Gophers are tied with Ohio State University, Purdue University, and Penn State University for third place in the conference standings behind undefeated Nebraska and Wisconsin.
