The University of Minnesota opposite Stephanie Samedy continues to be one of the most dominant collegiate volleyball players not only in the Big Ten but the nation.

The 6’2” redshirt senior had 10 kills, 12 digs, and four blocks in leading the Golden Gophers (10-5, 5-2 Big Ten) to a 3-0 Big Ten victory over Northwestern University Wildcats (7-11, 2-5 Big Ten) Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Maturi Pavilion.

Samedy, a Clermont, Florida, who starred at East Ridge High School before playing for Minnesota, leads the No. 12 Gophers and kills and is the 2020-21 Big Ten Player of the Year.
