Senior opposite hitter Stephanie Samedy led the way with 22 kills and 21 digs, fellow classmate outside/opposite hitter Airi Miyabe added 16 kills, and sophomore outside hitter Jenna Wenaas chipped in 10 kills as the No. 12 University of Minnesota Golden Gophers volleyball team (12-6, 7-3 Big Ten) needed only sets to defeat the No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes (16-4, 6-4, Big Ten) 3-1 on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Maturi Pavilion.

After losing the first set 25-22, the Gophers bounced back winning the next three.

Junior outside hitter Gabby Gonzales led the Buckeyes with 19 kills and 13 digs.
