The Macalester College men’s basketball team, led by head coach and 2008 alum and former player Abe Woldeslassie, had an inter-squad scrimmage on October 30, 2021, at the school’s gymnasium.
Woldeslassie is in his fourth season as head coach at his alma mater. After graduating from St. Thomas Academy in 2004, he played two seasons at the University of St. Thomas before transferring to Macalester for his final two seasons.
During his senior season at point guard, he averaged 17.2 points per game for the Scots Former Blake point guard standout Robert Grace IV, a freshman, played well during the scrimmage.
