Samedy leads Gophers past Nebraska

Senior opposite hitter Stephanie Samedy had an ace the last play during the fifth set of an
important match giving the No 11. University of Minnesota Golden Gophers volleyball team (14-6, 9-3
Big Ten) to a 3-2 Big Ten Conference victory over No. 6 University of Nebraska Cornhuskers (16-5,
10-2 Big Ten). The match took place on Saturday afternoon, October 30, 2021, at Maturi Pavilion.

Samedy also had 20 kills and 26 digs. Sophomore outside hitter Jenna Wenaas led the Golden
Gophers with 22 kills, senior outside/opposite hitter Airi Miyabe added 10 kills, and senior
libero/defensive specialist CC McGraw had a team-high 45 digs.
