Update: The Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) reported that Joyce Louise Dean has been found and is safe. The MPD thanked concerned citizens “who called 911 out of concern for Joyce who appeared lost and confused and the Fridley Police Department who ensured that Joyce received the care she needed.”
Early this morning, the MPD asked for public assistance in locating Dean, 67, an Alzheimer’s patient who walked away from her residence in North Minneapolis Sunday night.
Concerned citizens with information were encouraged to call 911 or call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or electronically at www.CrimeStoppersMN.org.
