The Celebration of Life for Amir Locke, the 22-year-old shot and killed by a Minneapolis police officer during a Feb. 2 no-knock raid, will take place Thursday, February 17.
A public viewing will take place from 10 am to 10: 50 am at Shiloh Temple International Ministries, located at 1201 W. Broadway Ave. in Minneapolis. The funeral will begin at 11 am, with civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton performing the eulogy and attorney Ben Crump, who represents the Locke family, providing a “Call to Justice.”
