Patricia (Pat) L. Rhodes passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022. She was born in Minneapolis, MN, and graduated from South High School in 1959.
During her three years at South High School, Pat was an honor roll student, cheerleader, and the lead Majorette for the school band.
After graduation, she was employed as a receptionist at Standard Oil Co. in St. Louis Park, MN. Pat resigned from the company in 1967 to become a Northwest Delta flight attendant. She retired from Northwest Delta on May 31, 1996.
Pat enjoyed swimming, cooking, modern dance, and traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Gloria (Howell) Rhodes, and brother Steven C. Rhodes.
Pat is survived by sisters Margaret Jemison, Boni Berg (Minneapolis), and Betti Ann Rhodes (LA, California), brothers Maurice and Walter Junior (Minneapolis), Aunt Josephine Howell (Minneapolis), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be sent to St. Peters AME Church at 401 E. 41st St., Minneapolis, MN 55409, or The Minnesota Society of the Blind in memory of her Uncle Boyd Howell. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
