It’s living proof that even while the rest of the country is consumed by war, some natural enemies can still get on together.
Adorable footage of the bond between three abandoned puppies, a mother cat and her kittens, as they curl up on camouflage netting has become a heartwarming hit on TikTok.
The footage was filmed somewhere behind Ukrainian lines but without any clues that could be used by Russian intelligence officers to pinpoint a military target.
At first, it looks like three young pups cuddling up on the netting.
But as the clip maker – speaking Ukrainian – starts to pet and stroke them, the pups stand up to reveal a tabby mum and her brood of very young kittens keeping warm alongside them.
The animal lover can then be heard saying: “It’s a miracle, even in these hard times.”
The clip is described only as being filmed “somewhere in Ukraine” for security reasons and is also the filmer said close to the front line.
The film-maker – who also asked not to be named – told Zenger News: “We cannot even talk about the location because of the circumstances in our country as there are laws that prohibit the disclosure of such information.”
