
Midtown Global Market announced on Wednesday that Jasmine McConnell has been selected as the new general manager.
The Market highlighted McConnell’s experience and background, which includes nearly 10 years in various leadership roles in construction, real estate, supervision, management, and business ownership. As general manager, McConnell will offer well-seasoned professional support to all of the operational, marketing, and leasing needs, according to the press release.
McConnell is described as a strong leader who is on-site working side-by-side with more than 32 business owners on a daily basis.
McConnell’s certifications include OSHA, Procore, Fall Protection Plan, a Neighborhood Development Center Entrepreneurial graduate, and Black Women’s Wealth Alliance business startup recipient. She’s also a member of the National Association of Professional Women, Sisters in the Brotherhood Union 322, and a past board member of the Jay and Rose Foundation.
Midtown Global Market, now in its 16th year of operation, is an internationally themed public marketplace offering groceries, great food, and unique gifts. The Market is owned by two non-profit entities: The Cultural Wellness Center and the Neighborhood Development Center and serves as a small business incubator whose mission is to provide access and opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs.
