The METRO B Line is a planned Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line that will provide faster and more reliable transit service in the Route 21 corridor along Lake Street and Marshall and Selby avenues.
An online open house regarding the METRO B Line Preliminary Design is now open for comments until July 29 at blinestamap.wpengine.com. Also, a virtual open house and Q&A with project staff will take place on July 12 from 6-7:30 pm.
BRT aims to bring better amenities, faster service and a more comfortable ride through:
- Faster, frequent service
- Pay before boarding for faster service
- Neighborhood-scale stations with amenities
- Enhanced security
- Larger and specialized vehicles
