Jamar Curtiss Whitlock was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on February 22, 1977, to the union of Curtiss Whitlock and Marion Webb Whitlock.
Jamar is preceded in death by his father, Curtiss Whitlock; his paternal grandfather Lewis Whitlock II; paternal grandmother Beverly Whitlock; maternal grandfather McClinton Webb, Sr; and maternal grandmother Willie Mae Webb.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Marion Webb Whitlock; brothers Marcu Whitlock (Jamila) and Brandon Kirksey; sisters LaKeshia Kirksey and Carmen Kirksey; stepmother Maude Whitlock, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, “little siblings” and friends.
His Celebration of Life service will take place Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Kingdom Life Church, 3751 Sheridan Ave. N., Minneapolis, MN. The visitation will take place from 10-11 am, with services at 11 am, entrusted to Washburn-McReavy. The interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN.
