Norma Jean Williams was born on December 28, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa, and passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in Burnsville, MN. She was the daughter of late Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder publishers Cecil E. Newman and Launa Newman, and MSR vice president emeritus.
