Returns to Lake & Chicago with more than 75 vendors
Celebrating another year of Black excellence, creativity, and economic empowerment, the fourth annual Black Entrepreneur State Fair will return Aug. 20-26 outside of Midtown Global Market on the corner of Lake & Chicago in South Minneapolis.
This event helps build economic growth for more than 75 small Black-owned businesses in the Twin Cities while providing a space for innovation and collaboration. “The Black Entrepreneur State Fair aims to provide a platform for Black-owned businesses to thrive, connect, and engage with a diverse audience,” says founder Destinee Shelby.
A dynamic marketplace will allow guests to explore fashion, beauty, lifestyle trends, technology, food, and art. The event will also include a series of panel discussions, workshops, and keynote presentations led by prominent Black entrepreneurs, experts, and industry leaders. Besides the market, guests can enjoy food, entertainment, skating, a kids’ zone, and more.
The fourth annual Black Entrepreneur State Fair takes place at Midtown Global Market on the corner of Lake St. & Chicago Ave. (west side) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are available in advance or at the door; $7 (separate charge for skating and Kids’ Zone).
