Election Day is November 5, but Minnesota voters can begin casting their ballots on Friday, September 20, until Monday, November 4.
Voters can vote in person at an early voting center or by mail. Mail-in ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Election officials urge voters to mail their ballots in as early as possible to avoid potential post office delays.
Now is a great time to register to vote if you haven’t done so already. You can check your registration or register easily by visiting the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorderโsย Voter Resource Hub. Even if youโve already registered, election officials encourage voters to verify that their voter information is current and accurate.
Note that pre-registration for the November 2024 General Election closes on October 15. If you miss this deadline, you can still register at your polling place on Election Day.
