People Incorporated, a trusted community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to mental health services, is set to host its highly anticipated Community Access and Resource Event (C.A.R.E.) on Friday, November 22, 2024.
The event will take place at Northside Community Support, located at 1309 Girard Ave N, Minneapolis, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
This event promises to connect individuals and families in the community with valuable resources aimed at improving mental health, promoting independent living, and supporting overall wellness.

The C.A.R.E. event provides an essential opportunity for community members to access a variety of services that can support their mental health and well-being. Attendees will learn about and have the chance to sign up for a free membership to the Northside Community Support Program (NCSP), a key resource for individuals facing mental health challenges. Beyond program enrollment, the event will feature a range of other resources, from health and employment support to community engagement opportunities.

A Lifeline for Those in Need: The Northside Community Support Program
The Northside Community Support Program (NCSP) offers vital services to adults in North Minneapolis who are dealing with serious and persistent mental illness, substance use, trauma, isolation, and other life challenges. This free, membership-based program provides access to therapy, emergency food, employment assistance, legal aid, and more. NCSP is designed to be a resource for adults 18 and older in Hennepin County who may be facing complex needs, and many of its members also experience co-occurring disorders such as substance abuse.
As part of its mission, NCSP helps individuals overcome obstacles that can lead to isolation and vulnerability, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
