High School Basketball Game of the Week – Maple Grove vs Park Center
The December 2024 rematch between the Maple Grove Crimson and the Park Center Pirates was a complete reversal of their March 2024 showdown, where Park Center narrowly secured a 63-58 win. This time, Maple Grove left no room for debate, dominating the Pirates in a 78-36 blowout.
From the opening tip, the Crimson controlled the game, showcasing a balanced attack on offense and a relentless defense. The victory not only avenged their previous loss but also marked Maple Grove’s first win of the season, improving their record to 1-2.
For Park Center, the loss was their second in a row, dropping them to 1-3. The Pirates struggled to find answers on either end of the court, falling short of the energy and execution they displayed in their earlier matchup.
