Minneapolis South grad and University of St. Thomas senior guard Jade Hill on Monday was named Summit League Performer of the Week.
The 5-7 guard scored 26 points to lead the Tommies to a 69-54 victory last Saturday over Western Illinois, Hill’s third 20+ point scoring night this season – she also finished with three rebounds, four assists and two steals. Hill currently is ninth on the school’s all-time scoring list and second in assists.
Monday’s honor made Hill the first Tommie in the DI era to earn the conference’s weekly honor multiple times in the same season – she also was named Nov. 11, the first award of the season.
St. Thomas will return to action on Saturday Dec. 21 when they host Drake in their final home game of 2024 at 1 pm CST.
