Fannie Lou Hamer (posthumous)
Fannie Lou Hamer’s courage and activism redefined the civil rights movement. As a founder of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party, she fearlessly challenged the systemic exclusion of Black voices from politics. Her work directly influenced the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, a landmark in the fight for racial equity.
Earvin “Magic” Johnson
On the court, Magic Johnson dazzled fans as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, securing five NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers. Off the court, his entrepreneurial ventures and philanthropic efforts through the Magic Johnson Foundation have brought opportunities to underserved communities, particularly in healthcare and education.

Denzel Washington
A living legend of stage and screen, Denzel Washington has brought unforgettable characters to life, earning two Academy Awards, a Tony Award, and numerous other accolades. Beyond his artistry, he’s made a lasting impact as a National Spokesman for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, empowering young people to reach their full potential.
