Mashkiki Studios is inviting the community to experience ancestral healing through its upcoming Medicinal Bath Bomb Workshop, hosted at the Indigenous Roots Cultural Arts Center in St. Paul. This immersive, hands-on event is open to the public and offers participants a chance to create sacred bath bombs using traditional Indigenous plant medicines.
A healing experience rooted in tradition
Far more than a DIY craft, the workshop explores the sacred connection between plants, water, and wellness. Guided by Indigenous teachings, participants will work with cedar, sage, and sweetgrassโplants known for their cleansing, protective, and healing properties.
Attendees will learn about the spiritual significance and traditional uses of these medicines, along with ways to bring mindfulness and intention into their daily rituals.
Each participant will receive:
- A handcrafted 4-pack of medicinal bath bombs
- Knowledge of sacred plants and water medicine
- Tools and techniques for everyday mindfulness
- A curated list of mental health and wellness resources
No experience is necessaryโthis welcoming workshop is open to all skill levels, from curious beginners to seasoned herbalists.
