7th Street Live! Brings Music, Culture, and Community Back to the East Side

One of the East Side’s biggest summer festivals is back. 7th Street Live! returns Saturday, August 9 for a free, all-ages block party that blends music, culture, and community energy.

The four-hour festival, held at 7th Street and Hope Avenue, runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and features:
- 🎤 Live music and DJs
- 🥊 Youth boxing and double dutch
- 🎨 Art vendors and food trucks
- 🕺🏾 Breakdance battles and street performances
Hosted by Power 104.7 FM, the event is designed as an intergenerational, multicultural celebration of local talent and neighborhood pride.
“This isn’t just a party,” organizers said. “It’s a reminder that the East Side is creative, vibrant, and full of life.”
Vendors, performers, and community organizations from across the Twin Cities will be present, along with family-friendly activities for all ages. The festival is sponsored by the East Side Funders Group, Old National, Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, City of Saint Paul Cultural STAR, and Indigenous Roots.
