Commentary: America’s Constitutional Crisis Is Already Here
The threat of a constitutional crisis in the U.S. is not on the horizon — it is already here. In 2025, the White House, Congress, and the Supreme Court, under the influence of MAGA politics and white Christian nationalism, are eroding fundamental freedoms. Voting rights, due process, and the rule of law are being stripped away, leaving “We the People” facing a future where American democracy itself is under siege.
America’s Constitutional Crisis isn’t coming — it’s already here and getting more damaging by the day.
The good news: The threat of a constitutional crisis in the U.S. is gone. The bad news: It’s already here, and making life worse by the day.
And FYI, America’s freedoms are not being snatched by ISIS, robbed from us by immigrants or taken away by the “Woke.” It’s the enemy within that’s doing this damage: The White House, Congress, and the U.S. Supreme Court, i.e., the Cult of MAGA.
They’ve all been bought and paid for by white “Christian” nationalists and tech bros, all clinging to an anti-Black, anti-women, anti-facts bent on reality. Hence, everything they’ve produced in 2025 — all their policies, laws and executive orders — has spit in the face of everything these red, white and blue-loving patriots swore their entire lives they believed in, till death do they part.
Well, they’ve parted from those beliefs, and death has visited “We the People” in the form of suppressed voting rights, DOA due process, and the rule of law becoming whatever anti-humanity forces say it is at any given moment.
This critique is not just coming from “liberals.” Some of the most conservative minds in America fear the country is nearing a line it cannot uncross, and destroying things that cannot be unbroken.
The question is, how will “We the People” respond?
