Twin Cities Veg Fest Returns to Saint Paul With Food, Wellness, and Music
Twin Cities Veg Fest Saint Paul is back on Sunday, September 21, 2025, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Harriet Island Park. The free, family-friendly festival features 30+ vegan food vendors, 75+ shopping booths, live music, cooking demos, a drum circle, yoga and Zumba, and the Letโs Beat Breast Cancer Rally. Organized by Compassionate Action for Animals, the 13th annual event invites the community to explore plant-based living, sustainability, and wellness. Early arrivals can grab free swag bags, and guests can support the festival with a $10 coupon book valued at more than $500.

The Twin Citiesโ largest celebration of plant-based living is back. On Sunday, September 21, 2025, thousands are expected to gather at Harriet Island Park in Saint Paul for the 13th Annual Twin Cities Veg Fest, a free, family-friendly event showcasing food, wellness, and sustainable living.
A feast for the community
More than 30 food vendors and trucks will serve 100% vegan menus, from local favorites like Amazing Momo and Namaste Cafรฉ to sweet treats from The Donut Trap. Early arrivals will receive free swag bags filled with snacks and samples from festival sponsors.
Beyond food, attendees can shop from more than 75 vendors offering jewelry, art, clothing, home goods, and health productsโall rooted in compassion for animals, climate consciousness, and community wellness.

Entertainment and inspiration
This yearโs theme, โCultivating Compassion, Harvesting Change,โ highlights the festivalโs mission to create a kinder, more sustainable world. Programming includes:
- Cooking demos with samples from Food on the Fly and chef Margaret Telfer
- Live music from Joseph Walker and the Walker Brothers Band
- A participatory drum circle with Empowered Percussion
- The Letโs Beat Breast Cancer Rally, featuring drumming by local high school bands
- Outdoor yoga and Zumba sessions, plus family-friendly games and activities
- Inspiring talks from Sierra Carter, owner of Zen Bin, and Austin Frerich, author of Barons: Money, Power, and the Corruption of Americaโs Food Industry
More than a festival
Organized by Compassionate Action for Animals, a nonprofit founded in 1998, Veg Fest has become a space for building empathy, wellness, and community.
โBetween the wide array of plant-based food options and all the opportunities for both fun and learning, Twin Cities Veg Fest is a terrific way to dip your toe or swan dive into plant-based living,โ said Abbey Feola, the groupโs program director.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free, with donations welcome to support future events. Guests can also purchase a $10 coupon book valued at more than $500 to help sustain the festival.
