Bethel Defeats Millsaps in NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Tournament

This week’s Top Three photos feature the Millsaps College (Jackson, Mississippi) Majors Women’s basketball team during their 81–73 loss to the No. 13 Bethel University Royals in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Division III basketball tournament last Friday evening.
The Majors (21–8) were paced by Tia Anderson, who scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Point guard Garin Freeman contributed 14 points and 12 assists, while Elyse Warren added 13 points and 13 rebounds.
The Royals, advancing to the second round after a victory over Coe College (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), were led by Emily Erickson, who scored 31 points.
