ART BQ Is Back: 825 Arts Hosts Free Community Night in St. Paul on June 16

825 Arts is hosting a free ART BQ pop-up on Tuesday, June 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center in St. Paul, featuring a Frogtown Neighborhood Association community forum on tax dollars with a City Council guest, food from Gravy Babies, Plant Bingo with Roots and Bloom and 3-on-3 basketball with BR Sports Club.

ART BQ is back, and 825 Arts is bringing the community together for an evening of conversation, food, and fun on Tuesday, June 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center in St. Paul.

The pop-up event is free and packed with reasons to show up.

Community Forum on Your Tax Dollars

Frogtown Neighborhood Association (District 7) will host a community forum with a special City Council guest to discuss what is happening in the neighborhood and answer questions directly from residents. If you have ever wondered where your tax dollars are going, this is your chance to find out.

Food, Games, and More

Rondo native Jocelyn from Gravy Babies will be serving up food, so come hungry. The night also includes Plant Bingo with Roots and Bloom and 3-on-3 basketball with BR Sports Club.

About 825 Arts

Since 2009, 825 Arts has been a coalition of board members, volunteers, staff, small business owners, neighbors, and young artists working to transform the historic Victoria Theater at 825 University Ave. into a community arts center for all of Frogtown and Rondo.
