Catalyst for Systems Change Hosts Legislative Recap & Changemakers Celebration
Digital Editor Aaliyah Demry previews the Legislative Recap & Changemakers Program Celebration hosted by Catalyst for Systems Change, honoring young people from its Changemakers program who advocated for policy change at the State Capitol on issues including education, housing and workforce development. The event runs July 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mosaic Venue in Minneapolis, with dinner provided.
Young members of Catalyst for System of Change are inviting the community to learn and reflect on the 2026 Minnesota Legislative session at its Legislative Recap & Changemakers Program Celebration.
The non-profit’s Changemakers program works with young people who helped shape policy conversations at the State Capitol, advocating for changes that address systemic barriers including education, housing and workforce development.
At the in-person event, organizers say attendees will have the chance to connect, learn, and have fun with people passionate about making a difference.
“This is what it looks like when young people move from being talked about to helping shape the decisions that affect their lives,” said Khalique Rogers, Executive Director of Catalyst for Systems Change.
