Blackbird Revolt Hosts Revolutionary Teach-In for Black August

Blackbird Revolt, a non-profit in Minneapolis, is hosting a Revolutionary Teach-In. The event brings Black and brown artists, educators, and movement builders together in hopes of reclaiming narratives, deepening understanding of liberation work, and strengthening relationships within communities.
The gathering takes place at the Blackbirds studio on Friday, August 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants will engage in five to six workshops led by Twin Cities leaders and organizers centered around revolution rooted in care, shared meals, and a community social hour.
The non-profit is hosting the tech-in during Black August, a month honoring Black freedom struggles and resistance to create space for communities to learn together and take meaningful steps towards liberation.
