
Southside Back in the Day (SSBITD) returns to Phelps Park on Saturday, Sept. 5, for its 17th annual celebration of community, culture, and neighborhood pride.
According to organizers, the festival draws more than 1,000 residents, families, business owners, and local organizations for a day centered on connection and upliftment.
This yearโs entertainment schedule features a lineup of local talent. Attendees will see live sets from Jamela Pettiford, the Starlite Band, and Se’Anna Johnson. The stage will also host performances from the Just Being Me Dance Company and the Red Hat Sabathanettes.
The celebration will also feature food trucks, art vendors, health and wellness resources, and activities for the whole family.
