Overview:
For too many Minneapolis families, a quality winter coat does not fit the budget. Be The Change MN is working to close that gap through its annual Winter Wonderland event at Mall of America, raising funds to provide 1,000 elementary students with warm coats and winter essentials. In partnership with Macy’s, the organization will purchase and distribute high-quality coats to students in need. A $50 gift covers a hat, gloves and scarf, $100 covers a winter coat and $150 covers both. Donations of any size help kids get to school, stay focused in class and play outside without worrying about the cold.
