Guest: Angel Robinson
In this episode of Blacklight On Sports, co-hosts Charles Hallman and Dr. Mitchell Palmer McDonald, PhE. sit down with one of Minnesotaโs most celebrated basketball figuresโAngel Robinson.
Robinson made her name on the court early, helping lead St. Paul Central to the Class 4A state championship in 2007 and earning both Metro Player of the Year and Miss Basketball honors. After an outstanding collegiate career at Marquette University, she was inducted into the Marquette Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018 and went on to play professionally overseas.
Now back in the Twin Cities, sheโs continuing to shape the game as a special education teacher at St. Paul Johnson High School and head girlsโ basketball coach at Tartan High School. Her path from a young standout athlete to an educator and mentor is a testament to her commitment to youth and community.
