Howard quarterback Jaylon Tolbert was named MEAC Offensive Player of the Week after throwing a career-high four touchdowns in the Bison’s 35-21 win over Morehouse.
Howard’s preseason training camp saw a three-way quarterback competition, with redshirt sophomore Ja’Shawn Scroggins eventually winning the job.
