On Saturday, May 6, from 12 -3 p.m., Sister Spokesman celebrated outstanding mothers, a week before the official Mother’s Day holiday. The event, which was held at the Royal Foundry Craft Spirits, 241 Van White Memorial Blvd in Minneapolis, honored eight mothers who were nominated by friends and family members, in recognition of their contributions to the Black community.
