Former First Lady Michelle Obama and her brother, Craig Robinson, are teaming up to launch a new weekly podcast, IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson. The series, set to premiere March 12, will feature in-depth conversations with high-profile guests from entertainment, sports, health, and business.
A platform for real conversations
The title IMO—short for “In My Opinion”—reflects the candid and relatable discussions the siblings plan to have, tackling the everyday challenges shaping relationships, family dynamics, and society.
“With everything going on in the world, we’re all looking for answers and people to turn to,” Obama said in a statement. “There is no single way to deal with the challenges we may be facing—whether it’s family, faith, or personal relationships—but taking the time to open up and talk about these issues can provide hope.”

The podcast is a production of Higher Ground, the media company founded in 2018 by Michelle and Barack Obama. It follows Obama’s previous successful podcast projects, The Michelle Obama Podcast (2020) and The Light We Carry (2023).
