Living Naturally Abundant is inviting the community to prioritize mental wellness and connection at the First Annual Mental Health Awareness Fair on Friday, May 3, 2025. The event, hosted at the Saint Paul YMCA from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, is free and open to the public.

Held in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the fair is organized in partnership with the YMCA Saint Paul and sponsored by Medica. It promises an afternoon of restorative activities aimed at supporting emotional and physical well-being in an inclusive and accessible way.
โOur goal is to empower individuals with tools to support their mental and physical well-being,โ said Phillip Prospers, Executive Director of Living Naturally Abundant. โWeโre honored to work alongside Medica and the YMCA to bring these resources directly to the community.โ
A Space for Healing and Empowerment
Designed for all ages and experience levels, the event will offer a variety of interactive wellness sessions:
- Breathing Exercises with LaDonna Funderburke
- Boxing Workouts led by Dalton Outlaw
- Yoga and Meditation Sessions
- Plant-Based Juice Tastings from Plant Bar Cafe
These sessions are intended to meet participants wherever they are on their wellness journeyโwhether looking to de-stress, explore new forms of movement, or simply gather in solidarity with others.
Community at the Center
The Saint Paul YMCA will serve as more than just a venueโit will become a hub of collective care for the day. The event emphasizes community-based mental health support and reinforces the idea that wellness doesnโt have to be exclusive or expensive.
โBy offering free and engaging resources, we hope to remove some of the stigma and isolation that can come with mental health struggles,โ Prospers added.
